Italy is without a doubt synonymous with good Italian food and desserts such as pizza and pasta and of course, the famous Italian gelato. When I visited Italy I had so much good food that I just can’t wait to share it with you!
So, without too much introduction (none is needed as the words Italy and Food say it all)…
Here is a list of 10 delicious food and desserts I had in Italy:
1. Roman Artichoke
This classic Roman dish is a must try when in Rome. The Artichokes are mixed with olive oil, fresh herbs and white wine. This special dish can be found almost in every Italian restaurant in town. For me, it was surely an experience to try an authentic Artichoke.
2. Italian Coffee
What more can I add? Italians are famous for their great coffee and being a huge coffee lover I had to try it.
3. Pasta with a view
Positano has some of the best and romantic views in Italy, and we had the pleasure to dine overlooking the magnificent view. It was truly once in a life-time experience, plus the pastas were so delicious.
4. Pistachio & Vanilla Gelato in a Cup
My favorite gelato taste is definitely Pistachio! This was the first gelato of many that I tried on my recent visit to Italy. It was so delicious and I also loved the waffle.
5. Venchi Gelato Wrapped With Chocolate, Pistachio and Nuts in Rome
There’s a reason why Venchi is such a famous brand; It is simply incredible! from its waffles to the gelato and the huge variety of tastes- You should not miss a visit to Venchi while in Rome.
6. Cocktail with a view
What’s more romantic than an evening cocktail in Positano?!?
7. Late-night Gelato with a waffle
What’s better than eating a gelato before bed? probably eating a gelato, any time of the day!
8. Ravioli
Ravioli is my favorite Italian food (well, maybe after pizza). I loved eating this delicious tomato sauce ravioli in this gorgeous setting of Positano.
9. Tiramisu
So, I had my first real Italian tiramisu in the famous POMPI shop in Rome. The shop is all about tiramisu and it is said to be the best tiramisu in Italy. Mine was banana and chocolate flavored and it was surely great. To watch me try it out go to my ROME VLOG.
10. Customized White Magnum
I am no stranger to Magnum as (some of you may not know) but Magnum is an Israeli ice-cream made by an Israeli company. So, being an Israeli, I grew up eating Magnums very often. But boy this customized Magnum was a whole different experience. I’m a sucker for white chocolate and so I got to make a white chocolate magnum inside-out and decorate it with whatever it is that I wished.

Hope you had a great weekend! We did a lot of Christmasy things like putting our tree up which was good. They predicted wild weather but thankfully it stayed away all weekend.
