Depending on your likings, you could either snorkel at what is (arguably) the most beautiful beach in the world, or you could visit one of Providenciales’ nearby islands. The following schedule is fairly laid-back for those looking to stay mainly within the main island and slightly venture out.

Suggested 5-day schedule in Providenciales, Turk & Caicos:

Day 1: The first day marks your arrival to Providenciales and checking in to one of its pampering resorts. Take your time to relax on Grace Beach, get familiar with your surroundings and perhaps even snorkel at Coral Gardens Reef. For dinner, you could sample the local delicacies at the world-famous restaurant Da Conch Shack.

Day 2: Start your first morning at Turks & Caicos with a horse riding on the beach. Afterwards, enjoy lunch with a sea view at The Deck. For sunset watching you can drive to Sapodilla Hill and soak in the magnificent views.

Day 3: Head out on a clear kayak tour to see wild animals in their natural habitat. Your evening could be spent at Magnolia Restaurant & Wine Bar for the most breathtaking island views and delicious drinks.

Day 4: Take a cruise to Little Water Cay, known as Iguana Island. This organised trip will take about half of your day. For the rest of the time you can relax at the hotel’s pool. Later, you can have a romantic dinner at 72°West.

Day 5: For those seeking to venture out, you can take a boat to Middle Caicos islands. Known for its secluded beaches and Conch Bar caves, Middle Caicos could be an alternative to the tourist options in Providenciales. Also, it is a great spot to shop for artisan goods.

General travel advice:

Remember to plan ahead. Even in low season, tickets for tours and especially the horse riding on the beach experience are likely to sell out. In addition, renting a car is highly recommended in order to easily get around the island.
