Israeli Brunch in Tel Aviv at Centro Cafe

Israel is known for its incredible breakfasts and brunch, serving a wide variety of cheeses, salads and eggs of your choice. That’s why, one of my favourite things to do every time I come back to Israel is to try out breakfast in the different cafes Tel Aviv has to offer. During my quest of the best Israeli brunch in Tel Aviv, I tried out Centro cafe this time. Centro cafe offers a variety of dishes all day long from breakfast to dinner and it is located in one of the most famous and busy streets in Tel Aviv, Dizingoff.

THE DINNING EXPERIENCE

When it comes to an Israeli brunch it doesn’t get better than the typical Israeli dish: Shakshuka. Shakshuka is a mix of tomato sauce with eggs and a variety of herbs all mixed together into this delicious meal. This dish is best eaten with a piece of bread and salads on the side. Basically, there is no cafe in Tel Aviv that is not serving Shakshuka (yes, it’s that popular!).  Centro cafe indeed does an excellent shakshuka that is not to miss when visiting Tel Aviv.

THE DECOR

The interior, as well as the exterior, really made all the difference to my brunch experience. This Tel Avivian bistro stands out from the other cafes by providing its costumers with a unique European design; It is decorated with colourful vintage items and modern touches. There’s an outside patio also, but both dinning areas are designed equally interesting and unique.Israeli brunch in tel aviv

THE VIBE

Tel Aviv in itself is a vibrant city with warm and welcoming residents. That’s why, I was not surprised when the atmosphere in Centro cafe was so lively and fun. I also believe that the location of the cafe contributed to that because Dizingoff street is always crowded and vibrant.

To conclude, Tel Aviv is a great city for brunch, and with so many options it can get rather confusing. I believe Centro cafe is a great option for brunch if you’re looking for a place at the heart of the city with great atmosphere and unique design.
