Themed Afternoon-Tea on a Red London Bus with Brigit’s Bakery

One of my favourite activities in London is going on the B Bakery Bus tour for a themed afternoon tea. In fact, I highly recommend to add this experience to your London Bucket List.

The bus tours drive through the streets of Central London. Diners have a chance to take in London’s best sights while indulging themselves in a lovely afternoon tea on a double decker vintage bus.

I have been there on different occasion trying out their seasonal themed afternoon teas. Therefore, I wanted to share this experience with you, so you can choose which B Bakery bus tour is the right one for you.

Themed Afternoon Tea on a London Bus Tour:

B Bakery organise afternoon tea on a bus with the option of having themed experiences according to the season. From Chinese New Year to Easter and Halloween afternoon tea theme; B Bakery are constantly changing and innovating their afternoon tea experiences.

Christmas Afternoon Tea

During Christmas season there is nothing nicer than enjoying bubble Christmas afternoon tea on a bus with your loved ones. It is the perfect way to check out the Christmas lights and enjoy London to the fullest.

The Christmas inspired menu included Spinach and goats cheese quiches, smoked salmon blinis and chicken buns. The dessert options were cupcakes, chocolate tarts and delicious scones. Of course, the afternoon tea also caters to vegetarians vegans, or any food requirement you might have.

For me, it was the perfect Christmas experience that is unmissable during the special holiday season.

Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea

What more romantic than Valentine’s Day afternoon-tea on a vintage London bus? Perfect as a treat for couples, this afternoon tea will leave you speechless. Indeed, watching ever-changing London landmarks while eating delicious treats is the perfect Valentine’s Day experience.

Upon arrival, we were impressed by the bus decoration that fitted well the occasion: red balloons and hearts everywhere. Then, the tour has started and we were served with finger sandwiches, sweet desserts and drinks. The sweet treats perfectly matched the occasion and were all in colour red and pink.

One thing is for sure, this afternoon tea tour is the perfect way to impress your Valentine and step up your game.

Notting Hill Carnival Afternoon Tea

On May each year London is hosting the Notting Hill Carnival afternoon tea. B Bakery bus tour also adopted the occasion and hosted a wonderful Notting Hill Carnival inspired afternoon tea. Once again, the bus was decorated for the occasion with fun Caribbean theme decorations.

We were also served with the perfect Caribbean meal for the occasion: jerk chicken with rice and cauliflower salads.

The main meal was followed by dessert and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam and other savoury treats.

General Information

All bus tours go on the same route and cover various London’s landmarks including: Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, and more. Tours leave from Victoria Bus Station or Trafalgar Square. During the 1 hour and 30 minutes tour you’ll get to have an afternoon tea overlooking London’s famous sites.

B Bakery has several Afternoon Tea themed options, all equally amazing experiences! There’s also their bottomless Champagne Afternoon Tea or Gin Afternoon Tea if you really want to indulge on the alcohol. Going on at least one of the tours (or 3 of them, and counting, like me) is definitely a must when visiting London.
